Learn how to view the world through the eyes of a naturalist and discover your inner artist at the same time.
A few times a year, I offer a variety of interactive, zoom-based drawing and illustration classes, sharing my over 30 years experience and expertise rendering realistic nature art. In each course, you will learn the fundamentals of observational drawing as well as the natural history of our subjects. You will learn how to creatively transfer what you see to your sketchbook and explore how to use elements of line, shape, shading, space, and colour to construct a composition.

Celebrate spring by learning to draw some of our most important pollinators. In this 3-part online course, we will explore drawing a variety of bees in a variety of poses. Learn how they differ from other insects and how to built up their image using simple shapes.
